i have failed to even try to attempt that crazy diet. but on the fantastically bright side
i haven't binged or purged in three days. excluding today because that was a little screw up.
anywhoo i was hoping to write a more exciting blog so i could get more recognition and therefore meet more people who are in the same situation as i... and that way help each other, but i'm feeling a bit tired at the present moment. and hence, i am to retire to my bathroom.. sigh... second time today.

was thinking about you today. Wanted to say that ED's are often a control thing. If you feel out of control in your life you try to control something that's easy to control. You probably know all this anyway... you definitly sound like you are an intellegent person. So that's the psych point-of-view but I kind of have my own theroy in hindsight of why I may have been Bulimic (as well as the deeper emotional stuff)
The way we eat in western society is really shitty. Not alot of it is natural food and I think people with eating disorders are picking up on this intuitively and are responding in a fairly instinctive way. I mean animals will choose not to eat or they will regurgatae when they eat something bad.
I got over my Bulimia by myself and it's been through gradually replacing my obssession with weight/food issue with an obsession with healthy eating.
I'm now mostly a vegetarian and don't eat any dairy products at all. This isn't a random thing but from studying different theories about nutrition. Areas to look into might be raw food and nutrient dense foods.
When we're properly nourished we don't crave things as much. Craving isn't the body asking for more calories but for more nutrients. You can craving swap... as in craving for sugar can be as effectively releived by fruit.
Proper nutrition can really stabilize moods too.
I know this is a bit of a ramble but hope there's something there that might interest you.

Your blog is 'exciting'. It's actually enthralling fo rme to read about someone going throught the same stuff I was at about 20yrs old. I hope you can get heaps of readers and get some suport from other EG suffers.
Maybe start looking for other blogs with similar interests and start leaving comments and following other blgos?
